Braemar has been lengthened and has a spacious feel with more public rooms offering a pleasing and contemporary décor.  Braemar passengers tend to be 50+ and Mainly British. When all cabins have double occupancy, the ship provides a space ratio of 24.6 tons per passenger and a crew to passenger ratio of one for every 2.5 passengers. At full capacity the space ratio is 22.6 tons per passenger and the crew ratio is one to 2.7 passengers.

Cabins are nicely furnished and equipped although standard cabins are quite small but well laid out. Bathrooms are compact but have a good shower.

There is a walk around promenade and sufficient open deck space for sunbathing. Entertainment is provided in the tiered but sideways positioned Neptune Lounge. The Coral Club offers port lectures, classical music and shows. The Skylark club is a disco.  Show Lounges 2

Casual and comfortable during the day. Evenings range from smart casual (shirt & trousers) to informal (jacket and tie for gentlemen and casual elegance for ladies). Formal evenings require a suit or dinner jacket for men and a cocktail dress for ladies.

Wheelchair access is acceptable. There are two outside and two inside cabins for wheelchair passengers but overall the facilities for disabled passengers are few. Going ashore at tender ports is not possible for passengers who cannot manage stairs.  Hoists are not provided and passengers will need to bring their own.

The rating for children is Acceptable. There is a playroom and special programmes are provided when there are children onboard.
