Bremen is a purpose built German expedition ship providing very comfortable expedition cruising. The hull is wide beamed, ice strengthened and environmentally friendly. It has a good selection of public rooms. Some bilingual cruises are offered.  Bremen passengers tend to be Mixed Ages and Mainly German. When all cabins have double occupancy, the ship provides a space ratio of 41.2 tons per passenger and a crew to passenger ratio of one for every 1.7 passengers. At full capacity the space ratio is 36.7 tons per passenger and the crew ratio is one to 2 passengers.

Cabins are of a good size and are well equipped with TV, telephone, fridge, sitting area and small drinks table. The closet space is adequate although drawer space is limited. They all have an outside view (window or porthole). The Balconies are tiny.

The ship carries12 motorised Zodiacs and outdoor clothing necessary for cold and wet weather exploration. The promenade deck is wraparound with a change of level. The swimming pool is very small and deck space is limited. There is also a gym and a sauna.

The ship has a good number of public rooms, (despite her size) these include a forward facing observation lounge which doubles as a lecture room, main panorama lounge with 180 degree views), bandstand and bar. Entertainment is provided in the Bremen Club.  Show Lounges 0

Casual and comfortable during the day. Evenings range from smart casual (shirt & trousers) to informal (jacket and tie for gentlemen and casual elegance for ladies). Formal evenings require a suit or dinner jacket for men and a cocktail dress for ladies.

Wheelchair access is unsuitable. The facilities for disabled passengers are few.  Hoists are not provided and passengers will need to bring their own.
